things stand right now. mitt romney with a commanding lead on the road to the 1144 delegates with 454. more than the others combined there and so let's bring in our senior washington editor rick klein and, rick, we were both at romney headquarters this week. they say the math is set making it nearly impossible for anyone else to catch up. but rick santorum had something else to say about that map. i wanted to get your reaction. >> it's pathetic, isn't it? i mean now you're going to make the argument i should be president because of math. this is a campaign. this is a guy, mitt romney, who can't make the case as to what he wants to do to change this country. >> so, rick, is the map pathetic. >> it's pathetic only if you think playing and winning by those rules is pathetic. it's a race for delegates. you don't get extra delegates for doing it in a pretty or clean way. romney is the only candidate who's equipped for a long fight. his campaign will look to recapture poetry along the way but for now math is going to have to do. >> there's a lot of talk romney could pull off a clear win in
